Hi! I’m Christine Friedrichsmeier. No one can say my last name, so friends call me Keena. I am a curious cat, an award-winning artist, and a biologist who loves reading and creating heartwarming children’s books about nature, adventure, and the joy of friendship in the style of Mac Barnett – with a delightful twist at the end! I am a Children’s Book Academy graduate, and a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. I am very interested in creating for the PB market in both fiction and non-fiction/STEM.
